Innocent men were sent to war,
Yet, what they expected, they never saw.
Killed, gassed, bombed and shot,
The rest of their lives, they saw not...
Because of an illusion to persuade,
People to fight, lives to fade.
There was a man who just laid there,
His lungs were filled with poisoned air.
Choked, suffocated, left to die,
And no one could do anything but stand by.
This man had children, he had a wife,
But all the fighting took his life.
A poster did this, a poster lied...
Because of this, many died.
So next time you see a poster on the wall,
Tear it down and let it fall.
